The NAALT 2018 Scientific Committee announces that Farzad Salehpour of the Neuro Sciences Research Center, Tabriz Iran has been accepted as a faculty member of the NAALT 2018 Annual Conference in Detroit Michigan, August 17, 18 & 19, 2018 hosted by the historic waterfront Marriott Hotel.
Farzad Salehpour brings extensive experience to the NAALT conference describing the transcranial and intranasal photobiomodulation therapy which supports rapid reversal of cognitive decline. Brain photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy using red to near infrared (NIR) light is an innovative treatment for a wide range of neurological and psychological conditions. Red/NIR light is able to stimulate the mitochondrial respiratory chain and increase ATP synthesis. Brain PBM therapy enhances the metabolic capacity of brain neurons and stimulates anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant responses as well as creating neurogenesis. PBM has demonstrated a therapeutic role in disorders such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease; strokes; brain trauma and depression.
Farzad Salehpour has a growing experience in the application of photobiomodulation therapy to achieve significant reductions of acute and chronic pain for patients with a broad range of medical conditions. Many medical conditions respond to and improve with the application of photobiomodulation therapy. Photobiomodulation therapy has been widely used throughout the world to treat many medical conditions including musculoskeletal, nervous system, dental, skin, inflammation and sports related.
The NAALT Scientific Committee welcomes Farzad Salehpour to the faculty of the annual 2018 NAALT Conference.
