The NAALT 2018 Scientific Program Committee welcomes Richard Godine, DVM as a faculty member of the annual 2018 Science Program hosted this year in Detroit Michigan at the historic downtown waterfront Marriott Hotel.
Dr. Godine is past President of the North American Association for Light Therapy and past President of the Virginia Veterinarian Medical Association.
Dr. Godine describes himself as a small animal veterinarian. “I love what I do. Seeing the bond between people and their pets is a vastly interesting and rewarding daily experience. Being able to help deepen and expand that bond between pets and their partners is incredibly rewarding. From echocardiograms to fixing fractures to puppy kisses my day is varied, challenging and ultimately satisfying”.
Laser therapy is the single most important modality used in my animal hospital. Can you imagine communicating with cells in a non-invasive and healing way using laser light. I am able to control pain and swelling as well as stimulate dying cells to reinvigorate themselves without any side effects and this has been the most significant discovery of my medical career.
This year’s forum will focus on photobiomodulation – “Drug Free Pain Management”. Dr. Godine’s veterinarian practice focuses on the use of photobiomodulation therapy (PBM) to achieve significant reductions of acute and chronic pain in a broad range of medical conditions. Many medical conditions respond to and improve with the application of photobiomodulation therapy (PBM).
Please join with the NAALT Scientific Committee to welcome Dr. Richard Godine as a faculty member for the 2018 NAALT Scientific Conference.
