The Annual Meeting of the North American Association of PhotobiomoduLation Therapy (NAALT) will be held from August 17th thru August 19th, 2018, at the cutting edge Marriott Renaissance Center, Renaissance Drive, in Detroit, Michigan. This year’s exciting conference will feature the science and clinical applications of narcotic free pain management utilizing photobiomodulation therapy. Today, North America faces a crisis. Clinicians throughout North America in recent years have relied upon narcotic medications as part of the treatment plan for patients suffering acute and chronic medical conditions. Expected and unexpected complications of the use of narcotics in acute and chronic pain management have occurred.
Photobiomodulation therapy using medical therapeutic light producing devices has demonstrated the ability to offer narcotic free pain management. The growing excitement and enthusiasm for this innovative therapy has stimulated rapid progress in both clinical research as well as manufacturing with new photobiomodulation therapy devices becoming available. This year’s dates and venue were strategically chosen to enable national and international attendees to participate in this exciting ground breaking conference. Additional details of the conference are available on this website.
The scientific committee under the able leadership of Professor Nicholas Wise, NAALT Scientific Chair, has prepared a comprehensive scientific program encompassing a broad range of topics on photobiomodulation and its application in pain management. Building on the success of previous meetings preconference programs in Detroit will provide a range of topics that have been of interest to past attendees. A concentrated effort to engage our industry partners at this meeting will be in the forefront of making photobiomodulation science a practical clinical tool. We look forward to you joining us and participating in this cutting edge ground breaking conference.
I invite each of you to join NAALT in this fantastic opportunity. Make a commitment to join us today. I look forward to seeing many of you in Detroit.
