The Science Program Committee for NAALT 2018 is proud to announce that Praveen Arany, DDS, PhD will be a featured faculty member at the NAALT 2018 National Conference at the historic Detroit Marriott Hotel. This year’s forum will focus on “Photobiomodulation – Drug Free Management of Pain”.
Dr. Arany is trained as a dentist, oral pathologist and bio-engineer. He received his dental training from Rajiv Gandhi University, India and his PhD from Harvard University, Boston. Dr. Arany continued his post doctorate training with Fellowships at the Indian Institute of Science’s; National Cancer Institute; and Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Science, Cambridge. Dr. Arany also has certificates in Clinical Research from Harvard Medical School and National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Arany has over thirty-five (35) publications and three (3) book chapters. He has received numerous awards such as the NCI Director’s Young Investigator Award; NIH Merit Award; Wound Healing Society’s Young Investigator Award; and Eugene Seidner Scholar.
Dr. Arany has presented his work in numerous national and international forums.
Dr. Arany is currently Associate Editor of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Biology. Additionally, he is a member of multiple committees of the Wound Healing Society; The American Association of Dental Research; and The North American Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy. Dr. Arany is a peer reviewer for journals including Lasers in Medical Science, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, Journal of Dental Research, Wound Repair and Regeneration; Advances in Wound Care; Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Journal.
Dr. Arany is the Immediate Past President of NAALT. The NAALT 2018 Science Committee is excited to welcome Dr. Praveen Arany to the Annual NAALT 2018 Science Meeting in Detroit Michigan. Dr. Arany is one of the foremost authorities in the use of lasers and monochromatic light for dental and medical therapeutic purposes. It is with honor that the Scientific Committee of NAALT 2018 welcomes Dr. Praveen Arany to the faculty of our Annual National Scientific Meeting. We invite all of you to come join us in Detroit Michigan as we extend to Dr. Arany a hearty NAALT welcome.
