Note from the President’s Desk of NAALT

Dear Colleagues,

As many of you know the Science Committee of NAALT-WALT has made a difficult decision to move the NAALT-WALT Conference 2020 (August 6 -August 9, 2020) to the summer of 2021 (August 4 – August 8, 2021).

We are pleased to announce the joint NAALT/WALT/ALD Photobiomodulation Conference to be held at the acclaimed Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, Virginia on August 4 – August 8, 2021.  The North American Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy (NAALT) will team up again with the World Association for Photobiomodulation Therapy (WALT) and Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) to host a premiere event.

An unprecedented line-up of leading authorities on photobiomodulation therapy will be presenting new cutting-edge breakthroughs in this exciting new science.  A call for papers will continue.  Opportunities for commercial exhibitors still exists which will give all our exhibitors a greater opportunity to interact with conference attendees and to demonstrate cutting-edge PBM equipment capable of administering clinically effective technology to treat medical conditions.  Commercial exhibits will continue to be listed on NAALT-WALT Conference site with direct links to your.

For those that may have booked travel please follow-up with your travel agent or air carrier directly to cancel your travel arrangements for 2020.  All Marriott Hotel reservations made through the official NAALT-WALT block have been cancelled by Marriott.  If you booked your hotel outside of the official Marriott NAALT-WALT block you will need to follow-up with the hotel directly.  If you have any questions regarding the 2020 convention or the upcoming 2021 convention please contact us at sciencecommittee@naalt.org.

Registration will stay open for the 2021 conference at current conference prices which can be found online at the NAALT-WALT websites.  In October 2020, the 2021 conference price will likely increase as a result of post pandemic price adjustments.  Abstracts and papers will continue to be received.  Hotel reservations through the NAALT-WALT website will become available this Fall likely in October 2020.  Details will be posted as more information becomes available.
