Join us at Annual Conference of the North American Association for Laser Therapy - a "must attend" conference for all of our North American colleagues.

The NAALT conference will be held at Health Professions Division of Nova Southeastern University [NSU], 3301 College Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, May 20–22 2005.

Located on a beautiful 300-acre campus in Fort Lauderdale, NSU has more than 23,000 students and is the largest independent institution of higher education in Florida. It provides excellent facilities and a superb environment for our conferences and practical workshops.

Conference Theme:

The emphasis of the Conference will be on the practical application of the various forms of phototherapy with hands on experience and discussion of underlying mechanisms under the title:

The Clinical Practice Of Low Intensity (Cold) Laser And Phototherapy In Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Rehabilitation, Wound Healing And Veterinary Science.

It is intended to be of interest to a wide spectrum of participants, particularly medical and dental practitioners, sports medicine and pain specialists, osteopaths, chiropractors, physical therapists, podiatrists and veterinarians.

Accommodation:

Change of Hotel! - Unfortunately, the Conference hotel, Best Western Rolling Hills, has just announced that it will close on May 31st for renovations. There is a concern about possible diminishing of services prior to this on the part of the Conference Organizers. Indeed, the Hotel has withdrawn its previous undertaking to guarantee airport and conference shuttles.

We do apologize for any inconvenience. The Hampton Inn is making a special offer rate for a double room with hot/cold continental breakfast at the same rate of $69.00 if participants quote “NAALT 2005”. The hotel will provide shuttle service on telephone request from or to Ft. Lauderdale airport. A Conference bus will pick up participants from the Hampton Inn on Friday afternoon on May 20th at 12:30 pm calling en route at Best Western Rolling Hills at 12:40 pm. Registration commences in the Terry Building, Nova Southeastern University at 12:30 pm. The Hampton hotel shuttles will also be between the hours of 8:00am - 11:00pm.

The NAALT local Secretariat [ 1-800-356-0026 ext.5327] can provide information on other neighborhood or beach front hotels, although transport will be a participant’s own initiative.

Entertainment:

An 'accompanying persons' program will be available on the Saturday. The Conference Dinner on Saturday, May 21, is planned to involve an evening cruise on the Intercoastal Waterways, dining on a nearby island.
